Gasification offers the possibility to produce synthesis gas not only from clean hydrocarbon feedstock, but also from other carbon-containing feedstock with high levels of impurities. (e.g. refinery residues, pet coke, coal, waste). Depending on the chemical characteristics of the feedstock, RHI can offer the appropriate refractory lining materials and services, such as

• DURITAL dense low-silica and low-iron special shaped high alumina bricks
• RESISTAL chrome corundum bricks for slagging operation
• RADEX picochromite bricks for extreme corrosive service
• High alumina COMPRIT and DIDURIT castables with low silica content
• Low-iron and low-silica insulating L340 bricks and LEGRIT castables
• Low-iron insulating fire bricks and LEGRIT insulating for back-up insulations
