RHI at a Glance
| Press release - RHI Team at the Vienna City Marathon 2008 04/28/2008 |
RHI CEO Andreas Meier ran the Anker Half Marathon together with 68 RHI employees
The team was in the foreground on this day. Therefore the RHI employees did not pursue any individual goals or time limits, but rather targets that had been agreed upon together. The team consisted of 10 women and 59 men working at different RHI locations in Austria, Germany and Spain. There was a choice of three groups with different time targets (01:45, 02:00, 02:15). The team training of the past weeks had also focused to the expected running times. The groups ran together from start to finish.
The runners were welcomed at the RHI tent on Heldenplatz by their relatives, the RHI management, Dr. Stefan Bayer, occupational physician of the RHI Group, as well as by the Group’s works council, and were enthusiastically celebrated.
The joint participation in the Vienna City Marathon is one of many of the Group’s occupational health promotion activities. To RHI this means a holistic management system, which places the focus on the health and well-being of employees. RHI has been active in this area for more than 20 years and is thus a pioneer in Austria. This is proven not only by a large number of international and national awards, amongst others the Austrian State Prize 2007, but also by above-average positive figures regarding employee satisfaction, absence from work and fluctuation.
