Refractory Meeting: Guardian Industries & RHI GLAS   09/17/2007

Based on the current contract about chimney blocks and tin bath bottom blocks a delegation of Guardian members came to vistit RHI GLAS this summer. The participants came from the technical centre in Auburne Hills USA, from the technical centre in Luxembourg and from the engineering company Teco.

During the two days, a plant tour in Mainzlar and Niederdollendorf was organised as well as presentations of RHI GLAS’ latest developments.

When visiting the plants the customer could convince himself of the proper production of the tin bath bottom blocks for the project in Saudi Arabia.

Topics of the presentations were the development of micro porous materials,  the new material for bottom paving and superstructure – Durital AZ58 and regenerator lining.
