RHI supports reconstruction of a Bosnian school in Sarajevo: Cheque of EUR 3,000 handed over
Bernhard Nagiller, executive assistant to RHI CEO Andreas Meier, presented a cheque in the amount of EUR 3.000 to the headmistress and students of the KULIN BAN School in Sarajevo to help extend the school, which had been destroyed during the war. In addition, children attending this school were invited to Vienna with the support of RHI.
RHI has close ties with this region due to customer relationships and supports this project on the initiative of the Chairman of the Group’s works council, Leopold Miedl, within the framework of its worldwide social activities. As a global sustainable company, RHI supports social projects in customer countries throughout the world.
The Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) of Austria’s National Defence Academy launched this reconstruction project, which has now been presented on the occasion of the Republic Exhibition (1918-2008) at Parliament as an example for aid to our neighbouring countries.
The KULIN BAN was the first K&K school in Bosnia. German is still taught at this secondary school, which comprises eight classes, today.
